10% Conference Discount for Active Members
All active NAS members receive a 10% discount on registration fees for every conference organized under the Nexus Academia umbrella, including ICDET and ICCSC.
How the Discount Works
- Be an active NAS member โ Your membership must be in active status at the time of conference registration.
- Submit your paper โ Submit to any NAS partner conference through the regular submission process.
- Register with your NAS Member ID โ When paying the conference registration fee, enter your NAS Member ID in the discount field.
- Automatic verification โ The system verifies your membership status and confirms that your member email matches the first author email on the submission.
- Discount applied โ 10% is automatically deducted from your registration fee.
โ Important: First Author Requirement
To prevent misuse, the member discount is only available when the NAS member is the first (corresponding) author of the submission. The email address on your NAS membership must match the contact email associated with your conference submission. Each discount can only be used once per submission.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who can join the Nexus Academia Society?
Any researcher, academic, student, or institution engaged in scientific research can apply. Student members must provide proof of enrollment, and institutional members must be accredited educational or research organizations.
Is the 2026 membership really free?
Yes! As a founding year initiative, all membership tiers are complimentary for 2026. This allows us to build a strong community before introducing standard annual fees in 2027.
How do I use my 10% conference discount?
When registering for any NAS partner conference (ICDET, ICCSC, etc.), you will see a "NAS Member ID" field on the payment page. Enter your member ID (format: NAS-XXXXXXXX-XXXX) and the system will automatically verify your eligibility and apply the discount. Your member email must match the first author email on the submission.
How long does the application review take?
Applications are typically reviewed within 5โ7 business days. You will receive an email notification when your application is approved or if additional information is required.
Can I upgrade my membership tier?
Yes. You can request a tier upgrade at any time by contacting membership@nexus-academia.org. The upgrade takes effect immediately upon approval (and payment, if applicable from 2027).
What happens if someone tries to use my member discount?
Our system has built-in fraud prevention. The discount can only be applied when the NAS member's email exactly matches the first author email on the conference submission. Each discount is single-use per submission and the system logs all verification attempts for security audit purposes.
